Yankees Savagely Troll Indians\' Jose Ramirez After ALDS Win

This is absolutely insult to injury for the Cleveland Indians, courtesy of the Yankees’ Twitter account, and it ends a bit of a social media war between the ALDS opponents.

We start with Indians player Jose Ramirez responding to a tweet — that’s since been deleted — on Oct. 8:

We're 3-0 at Yankee Stadium this year cupcake. https://t.co/059Mv76kUs

— Jose Ramirez (@MrLapara) October 8, 2017

Here’s the tweet the Yankees sent on Wednesday night after the ALDS victory:

We like cupcakes. And champagne. https://t.co/P6ybRrBnkz

Oof. There’s also this Instagram photo with a similarly savage caption.

Final: Yankees 5, The Team That Blew A 2-0 Series Lead 2.

This could be revenge after the Indians tweeted this not-terribly-subtle dig at the Yanks last week:

Jay Bruce is on our team because our owner wrote a check that competitors for Jay wouldn't. pic.twitter.com/nIIff4RMcZ

— AL Central champs! (@Indians) October 6, 2017

Of course, the Yankees did tweet out a photo of LeBron James in a Yankees hat before the series kicked off.
